Remembrance DAY - 100 YEARS
Every student in the school made their own poppy that was placed on the school fence to Appleton Road.
In our Remembrance service students read poetry from WW1, shared personal family memorabilia and shared a prayer for all of our servicemen and women.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families
for the selfless acts they perform for us.
I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
Year 6 also created a display about the personal story of the soldiers who served in the trenches and explored their relationship with home.
